TRANS WEEK OF REMEMBRANCE 2014
This year’s Trans Week of Remembrance is brought to you by: Eureka Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Humboldt Area Trans Support, Humboldt Pride, and the Humboldt County Library.
Wednesday November 19th,
Jefferson Project, 1000 B Street Eureka
Trans Community Potluck at the Jefferson Project, in the room at the end of the hall with the couches. Please bring food to share, as well as a list of ingredients for those with allergies and dietary restrictions.
Thursday November 20th
Old Town Boardwalk, foot of Fst in Eureka
The National Transgender Day of Remembrance Candle-Lit Vigil will be hosted on the Compass near Living the Dream Icecream on the Old Town Boardwalk. The name of those who have been taken from this world by transphobic will be read and love will be sent to them.
Friday November 21st
Eureka Public Library
Showing of Documentary “Transgender Tuesdays”
We will show the documentary about the groundbreaking health clinic in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district.
