Celebrate National Coming Out Day by strutting your stuff with the Eureka Sisters!
October 11th, 7:30pm COCKTOBERFEST will hatch before your very eyes at the Siren’s Song Tavern in Old Town Eureka.
A very queer take on the traditional celebration of beer, brawts, and broads, COCKTOBERFEST adds equal parts chicken humor, double entendres, and glitter to the usual revelry.
A free event, a portion of the beer and food sales (Humboldt Hot Dogs) will go to benefit the Eureka Sisters.
GAMES: The Sisters will host a wide variety of exciting and devious games with prizes. From “Cockfighting” to “Sausage Speak,” there will be activities for everyone!
COCKIEST COSTUME CONTEST: Go ALL OUT. Metaphorically, Literally, whatever. Make sure it is COCKY!
SAFER SNACKING: In addition to the wonderful wiener service from Humboldt Hot Dogs (bring your cash), the Sisters will have a table for Community Condiments! What is something you love on a weiner? Do you have a special mustard you make? Do you smother your dog in chocolate sauce? Sharing is caring!
DRINKING: Please drink responsibly! Consider having a glass of kombucha or a fancy soda between your beers. The Siren’s Song has a wide variety of non-alcoholic beverages.
FUN: You will have it! Get ready to dance, laugh, and shove a sausage in your face. Who knows, this could be a yearly tradition!
Cock-a-doodle-doo to you! See you there.
